SWIFT Microwave Skin Therapy

This pioneering new microwave therapy for skin is a precise and easy way of treating soft tissue lesions such as warts/verrucas.

Swift is a microwave technology used to treat lessons on the skin such as the removal of veruccas and warts.

Swift uses microwave entry to deliver precise, highly controlled energy dose to a pre-determined depth into the skin.

The process does not require anaesthetic, does not break the surface of the skin and works to destroy tissue from the point of application.

How does it work? Water molecules within the tissue begin colliding and creating localised heat energy – quickly treating all infected tissue within that area. A typical treatment takes just seconds.

Infected tissue can exist several millimetres below the surface and can often be difficult to treat using traditional methods, resulting in either untreated tissue or significant damage.

Swift delivers a precise, highly controlled energy dose. As microwaves travel into the tissue, water molecules begin colliding and creating localised heat energy.

In just seconds the treatment is complete and the healing cascade begins immediately.

Treated tissue is quickly replaced, repaired and regenerated.

The treatment can cause some minor discomfort with some reporting the sensation similar to that of an injection.

How Many Treatment Sessions?

3 to 4 sessions, 4 weeks apart and a final follow-up appointment 12 weeks after the 4th session is all that is required in most cases.  However, as each patient is unique some patients will need further treatment sessions after the initial follow-up appointmen.
